Coalition of Library Advocates (COLA) Joint Membership

The Rhode Island Coalition of Library Advocates (COLA) is a statewide nonprofit grassroots organization that supports all libraries to improve the quality of life of all Rhode Islanders through excellent library services.  Through advocacy, education, and public awareness activities, COLA works to help improve library services throughout the state.  


Membership levels include Individual, Student/Retiree, and Sponsor (Sponsor supports the scholarships that COLA awards each year at its Annual Meeting to two graduate students preparing to be public or school librarians).  Learn more on the COLA website.



Cornucopia of Rhode Island (CORI) Joint Membership

The mission of Cornucopia of Rhode Island is to serve the library community of color through promoting professional and educational activities and fostering outreach into the community across cultures and languages.  This includes the development and delivery of multi-cultural collections, services, and programs and the mentoring librarians and library staff of color and encouraging librarianship as a profession to people of color.
