Legislation - The School Libraries Act
Factsheet in support of the School Libraries Act H7888 and S2520.
In the spring of 2024, The School Libraries Act was introduced in the House and Senate. The purpose of the Act is to make the vague language of the current BEP more clear about staffing libraries with certified school librarians and library space. Please advocate for the acts by using the factsheet and submitting written testimony in support of them.
